Covering agent for copper smelting

Carbonaceous materials are commonly used as covering agents for pure copper, brass and bronze or other copper alloys to prevent the oxidation of the melt and the formation of oxide slag. At present, most non-ferrous metals are smelted using a variety of materials as covering agents, but high-purity materials with lower impurity content can provide a high level of protection. In order to solve this problem, Runmei New Materials has developed a high-quality high-performance melt covering agent. The product has a graphite crystal structure and is not as easily oxidized as coke and charcoal, thereby reducing the consumption of covering agent.
